The need to seal, for example cabinet doors, gaps in window frames, spaces between components, to direct air flow, or to add trim to windows is commonplace. However, the durability of that seal or bond will be doubtful if careful consideration is not given to environmental conditions (temperature, water, oil etc.) the bonding limitation between the two surfaces, on occasions the need for reversible compression,and the flame retardant requirements.

VITEC offers a range of foamed polymers (polyurethane, PVC, PE, neoprene, PVC/Nitrile, Compriband equivalents) to match the requirements for:

• Double glazing.
• Trim mounting.

VITASEAL

Manufactured by Vitec. VITASEAL is a unique combination of a resilent foam and a water resisting binder. The combination produces a "dry" pre-formed strip seal used to resist weather ingress in fenestration, roofing and automotive applications. The viscoelastic properties also offer noise and vibration damping.
