Vitec offers a wide range of noise control materials:
Sound absorbers. Polyurethane and melamine (Basotect) foams determined by the target noise spectrum and FR requirements, PYROSORB & REVESORB
Barriers. Polymer or lead based typically adding 5 or 10 kg/m 2 .
(Absorbers are often laminated to barriers or dampers with a self-adhesive and protective finish).
K-FLEX is an ancillary product used in the H&V market as a thermal break preventing condensation. Based on closed cell PVC Nitrile it is available self-adhesive in kitted form.
Building products. This is a more specific range of products which are used either for, or as floating wooden or screed floors which meet Robust Standard Details (RSD) or Document E specifications. In addition, various customised products are used as absorbers in other parts of the building.
