Vitec have identified a range of situations within the building industry where engineered foam products provide novel, low cost, durable solutions to a range of challenging applications including –
Low porosity air seals for heating & ventilating (H&V) systems. FLEXITEC-E is a self-adhesive strip cut to any width in a range of thickness from 1 to 12mm thickness.
BBA approved security-glazing tapes for external & internally beaded UPVC and timber windows. FLEXITEC-HT, FLEXITEC-HT67 & FLEXITEC-PG offer full coverage of the types of product used in the industry. Vitec were the first to introduce polyethylene foam types into this application.
FLEXITEC-TM is a Trim mounting tapes used to mount decorative extrusions onto UPVC window systems.
Replacing the traditional gunnable silicone mastic VITASEAL VSR300 & VSR600 tapes are a clean, dry method of sealing around window frames to produce weather resistant seals, which are both flexible and capable of offering breakability to the window installation
Building Regulations Document B specifies Class O fire rating for certain Building elements and PYROSORB is the generic title for a range of Class O fire rated acoustic products. Used alone or with barriers, facings & heavy layers a variety of applications in office ceilings, walls, lighting & H&V are supported.
Building Regs also specify fire resistance and PYROSORB can be supplied in conjunction with intumescent materials to produce flexible movement joint systems.
